¿Suelas rojas? ¡Louboutin!

Red soles? Louboutin!

High heels, dreamy heels and a designer who found a distinctive feature that led him to international fame.

The streets of Paris are synonymous with fashion history. Under the stars, at parties full of sparkle and freedom, a designer found much of his inspiration to create shoes that are now iconic, as well as the pillar of an international brand.

This is Christian Louboutin. Of French origin and born in 1964, this creative has achieved global fame -mainly- for his peculiar footwear creations. Among the characteristics that distinguish his pieces are high heels and red soles, a distinctive feature that in one way or another has become an “exclusive” for the brand.

The origin

Christian Louboutin's early career included his time in the Parisian music hall, where he was inspired by the glamour of the actresses, their passion for the stage and extravagance in general.

The catapult

After making a name for itself in the industry, it opened its first physical store in the heart of Paris in 1991. From there, it began to attract the attention of not only the specialized press (with publications made by Vogue magazine itself), but also of diverse buyers: from high-end personalities to royalty and women looking to stand out with a pair of extremely sophisticated shoes. Thus, the brand reached other latitudes such as New York.

Muses

Among the women who have worn the brand are Carolina Monaco, Mariah Carey, Sarah Jessica Parker, Melanie B, Kate Moss, Zendaya, Salma Hayek and Jessica Simpson.

Current events

The shoes from this brand have a serial number that certifies their originality, the red sole has caused such a stir that replicas have become popular. Today the brand has lines of shoes, bags, accessories, beauty lines and even products for the men's market, as well as for the children's market.
