The importance of creating alliances is as great as the business opportunities within the fashion industry. For this reason, this sector has enthusiastically seen the synergy that occurs between different profiles.
One of the most common and powerful collaborations is between large chains and independent designers. The reason? On the one hand, brands find freshness in their proposals to attract a new public and raise passions among already captive buyers, and on the other, creatives find an efficient promotion platform for their work, as well as a business model that can be profitable.
In both cases, the result is positive if it is about increasing brand value. What do we understand as value? Everything that contributes to the positioning of the firm translated into areas such as perception, trust, loyalty, content, experiences and other elements that strengthen the fashion product or service itself.
As we said, a chain or department store that collaborates with an independent designer offers value to its buyers by presenting a proposal seasoned by the magic of design and its authenticity, while a diverse public can access - in a simpler, faster and sometimes cheaper way - a designer garment.

In the fashion industry, of course, there are also other ways in which collaborations come to life: these include co-branding (connecting two brands that regularly share the same target audience) and exploring other sectors (i.e. generating new products for new markets from your knowledge or base proposition, for example, if you offer leather bags, you could perhaps venture into jewelry by combining precious metals with said material, etc.).
