Social networks in transformation
Share
Your brand's presence in the digital landscape and community building are vital to your success.
Fashion is a highly sensorial industry. Through retail outlets and, of course, specialized trade shows like Intermoda, it's possible to get up close and personal with clothing, accessories, jewelry, and a host of other products.
However, the digital spectrum is a fundamental ally for brand promotion within this industry. Therefore, today we want to present some realities worth considering regarding social media linked to your fashion project in 2025.
The transformation continues
While digital marketing experts maintain that social media was not designed to sell (i.e., it's merely an arm to strengthen and encourage purchasing intentions), the truth is that a growing number of users are using these platforms every month.
Therefore, the presence of fashion brands is more than relevant to stand out in the market.
Through social media advertising, brands can generate targeted campaigns aimed at specific audiences. Unlike a few years ago, these strategies now focus on clear diversification: accounts on different social media platforms to connect with an increasingly fragmented and demanding audience.
What does this mean? Well, a good portion of users—especially the younger generations—not only have one favorite social network, but also consume and share content on different platforms and even through multiple accounts: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp top the list.
The video craze
Audiences demand engaging content, and if that's not enough, it's direct, entertaining, and concise. Yes, concise. Therefore, short videos have taken over various social media platforms to combine products, services, and value-added offerings.
From Instagram reels to short TikTok videos, Facebook stories, and YouTube fashion films, fashion has found in audiovisual tools an engaging way to communicate and, above all, to "seduce" its diverse customers to inspire, sell, and position the broad value chain within it.
Interaction and return on investment
Generating a real impact on followers is a significant challenge. Following the popularity of artificial intelligence image generation, users are beginning to value originality over automation. In other words, real-world content will have greater impact and acceptance, according to social media trends for 2025.
That said, ROI and follower engagement can be achieved with strategies that focus on personalization and memorable content, which must offer real value to potential customers.
Let's get to work!
