The curiosity of Daniel Andrade

The Mexican designer surprised at Intermoda 75's Fashion Space.
One of the national fashion talents that always excites is Daniel Andrade. Throughout time and through his collections, he has told very particular stories. His participation in Intermoda 75 was no exception.
Through Fashion Space, the hybrid platform -the only one of its kind in all of Latin America- where various designers and exclusive brands present their collections, this creative presented his recent work "Artificialia" last July.
The collection was characterized by a variety of silhouettes and where materials played a key role: The designer used patchwork, various textiles, embroidery and other details that originally belonged to other garments, to finally transform them under his own vision.
With this sustainable accent, the designer shared that part of the inspiration for "Aritificialia" is born in the so-called cabinets of curiosities. These, before museums existed, were used by families to gather and treasure objects created by the hand of man.
The foregoing is not strange, if something characterizes Daniel Andrade it is the search for new themes and scenarios translated into each of his garments.
“I wanted to make a collection that empowered the handmade”. For this reason, each of the pieces that make up the collection has some handmade detail.
A series of linen garments with pink tones stood out, made in collaboration with Celina Ochoa de Manosanta.
Undoubtedly, a flash of fashion characterized by love for textile design, refusal and, of course, experimentation in fashion.
