Intermoda increases 20% registration of buyers, at the end of the exhibition

Intermoda 78 concluded, achieving a historic growth of 20% in its register of buyers . In this way, the expectations that were held for this first edition of 2023 have been exceeded.
Being the first exhibition of the year to be held at Expo Guadalajara, it detonates economic activity in the state of Jalisco, benefiting the meeting, hotel, and restaurant tourism industry, among others.
During the four days of activities, Intermoda managed to gather the following figures in 45,000 square meters : 1,400 stands, more than 1,000 brands and 600 exhibitors from 15 countries.
The 20% increase in the registration of buyers ranges from more than 23 thousand national and international wholesalers , the latter originating from 22 countries.
It was attended by dozens of universities from various states of the Mexican Republic, in order to learn about the business model of the exhibition.
At the same time, the talent of 90 designers was promoted, who presented their proposals and collections in the Trending pavilion and the Fashion Space platform.
During the assembly and disassembly of this business platform, more than 6,000 trained assemblers were employed in this work.
The commercial proposal that was presented seeks to innovate and offer the best attention to attendees, segmenting the lines into 12 pavilions : Lady, Gentleman, Accessories, Footwear, Procurement, Gala, Children's, International, Trending (designers and collectives), Emprende IM ( ventures with commercial lines), Chou Room (urban fashion) and Manufacturers and Maquila de México.
One of the innovations that was presented at Intermoda was the Fabricantes y Maquila de México pavilion, which represents an effective business modality for Mexican manufacturing companies, by bringing them directly closer to new customers.
With this, the commitment to offer both the exhibitor and the buyer a platform that allows linking what is done in Mexico, in an international way, is reaffirmed.
Dialogues Between Leaders , is another of the new proposals that were presented, where a space is opened to talk about business, sustainability, exports, innovation, design and fashion to keep businessmen informed about the most relevant issues in the industry.
The activities program provided a complete knowledge experience, including conferences, panels, trends, experiences, hybrid business appointments, workshops, fashion exhibitions, shows, among others.
The closing event was given by the designer Paulina Luna , who, through a catwalk, presented her collection " Pre-Fall 2023 ", characterized by experimenting with each piece, where symmetry, asymmetry, lines, oversize , elegance, sophisticated touches and a bit androgynous, can be found in each creation.
