Illustrated style

Hayden Williams, graphic artist inspired by fashion, divas and beauty.

It's well known that most fashion designers identify, throughout their lives, ideal muses to find inspiration that allows them to create collections or even the DNA of their brands.

The above is also present across the broad spectrum of this industry, including the graphic arts. Today, we're focusing on a British artist who has been causing a stir on social media for several years.

Her images constantly go viral among fashion and style lovers, bringing to life female characters that include models, designers, actresses, singers, and even animated or fictional characters.

We're talking about Hayden Williams, a graphic designer who currently has more than a million followers on Instagram thanks to his work as a fashion illustrator.

The great leap

According to him, his passion for drawing began when he traced with his own hand the Disney characters he watched as a child. Over time, his style matured, and it was in 2010 when one of his images catapulted him to fame for a big reason: Rihanna shared one of his sketches via Twitter (now X). The fashion world has taken a closer look at him ever since.

Strokes and celebrities

Among the high-profile women who have praised his work are Oprah, Beyoncé, and Mariah Carey, as well as Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian. On the other hand, some of the women and figures this illustrator has immortalized with his unique, highly stylized and glamorous silhouettes include:

Demi Moore, Winnie Harlow, Elpha and Glinda from the film Wicked, Miranda Priestly, Kylie Jenner, Naomi Campbell, and Cher, among countless other women.

Collaborations and color pages

As an active professional in the fashion industry, this illustrator has worked or collaborated with models including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, Disney, Rimmel London, CIROC, Kylie Cosmetics, the Bratz doll brand, and more. His book, The Fashion Activity Book, is currently available on digital platforms to delight and inspire those who enjoy fashion, color, and design.
