Intermoda, the fashion trade show, is committed to sustainability.
The meetings industry can also set an example for achieving a better present and future in terms of sustainability. Proof of this are the efforts made by Intermoda, the most important fashion business exhibition in Latin America.
Its 81st edition, to be held from July 16 to 19, 2024 at Expo Guadalajara, continues to execute high-impact strategies that place it as an extremely relevant sustainable fair within the fashion industry.
How? Through environmentally positive practices, reinforced by a collaboration that includes the Global Destination Sustainability Movement and #Meet4Impact, organizations that enjoy international recognition.
Global strategy
One of the most important objectives for Intermoda today is to achieve absolute participation around a better reality. Having said that, Intermoda's vision is that, from exhibitors to suppliers, including buyers, sponsors and allies, they assume a commitment to sustainability and legacy. Yes, it is time for regeneration.
Well-deserved recognition
If you are a buyer at Intermoda, you will find a wide variety of exhibitors. Among them you will also discover cases where - in addition to innovative and trendy products - they also have an environmental commitment.
That said, Intermoda awards the Sustainable Exhibitor Award, which aims to recognize socially responsible companies whose work practices are sustainable both inside and outside the event.

Forceful steps
Among the strategies implemented at Intermoda 81 are the separation of waste, shredding of materials such as wood, PET, canvas, among others, as well as the implementation of recyclable carpet, the placement of water dispensers to reduce plastics and, of course, specialized knowledge through conferences, panels and workshops that unite fashion with this topic.
