Self-taught digital nomad with a degree in photography - Oswaldo Erréve develops his work from the field of editorial fashion and creates a visual synergy with technology through multimedia tools to create projects with a transdisciplinary aura. With virtual reality, coding through artificial intelligence and 3D design, under a supernatural vision, Erréve's graphic production generates contemplative visual responses about what reality would be like in an alternative simulation. The discourse of his work explores the virtual body portrait and the multimedia preservation of the real human race and its transcendence towards a transhuman race. He develops his graphic production within the sphere of editorial fashion, addressing the idea of transhumanism, the post-biological environment and non-tangible elements from a coexistential vision between organic and synthetic.
He received the (Art + Technology Lab 2021-22) scholarship at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). He is currently a beneficiary of FONCA within the Support System for Creation and Cultural Projects in the category of Interdisciplinary and Creation with New Technologies. He is exploring NFT resources and the breadth that Web3 offers to generate a cryptographic neoplatform for the investment of virtual economic value in an artistic community prepared for the metaverse. Erréve has been published by Elle México (2022), Fashion Week México (2021), Vogue Italia (2020), TimeOut México (2019), among others. In 2020 he developed the campaign for Nike: Lucha Libre in NFT format. He has managed to sell his work in cryptocurrencies through virtual markets that mint non-fungible tokens (NFTs) such as OpenSea, Knownorigin, Foundation and Artpool. It has also generated an alliance with cultural institutions such as the Image Center, Material Art Fair, Foto Museo Cuatro Caminos, Abierto Mexicano de Diseño, among many others.
