Intermoda, the event of the year

Leading figures from the fashion industry shone on November 9 at “Night of the stars”, the annual gala of Fashion Group International of Mexico City; this organization recognized the trajectory of industry leaders through different categories.

Intermoda, of course, was part of the universe of names that received an award that night for their representativeness in Mexican fashion. Brands, designers, professionals and industry leaders gave life to this exciting day, led by Montserrat Messeguer, Director of FGI Mexico.

“We feel very proud to be recognized by an institution such as Fashion Group, which stands out internationally (…) with the Mexico chapter, we have made an alliance because we want designers who are interested in becoming entrepreneurs to have our support and for For this we gave them a space within Intermoda through collectives”, shares Lic. Jorge Castellanos, current President of Intermoda, regarding this distinction.

This strengthens the two pillars on which the current leader of this business meeting has focused his attention: support for Mexican designers as well as national manufacturers within Intermoda.

"We want to provoke the alliance between designers and businessmen, to give an answer to our visitors, who are always asking us for new things, so that they have a more interesting and attractive product to offer", points out Lic. Jorge Castellanos, at the same time as he invites entrepreneurs in the fashion industry to get out of the price factor and bet on design as a competitive advantage.
