Your company or fashion product will be the topic of conversation.
Thanks to social media and various digital platforms, today we can select or measure immediate results of an advertising campaign: target audience, geographic areas, ages, schedules, etc.
However, achieving successful results is not always a guarantee. On the one hand, consumers are exposed to thousands of stimuli every day (countless companies want to sell something) and on the other, the creativity of the message must be extremely original to catch their attention.
In this context, there is a strategy willing to take the risk: buzz marketing.
What is it? We could define it as a branch of digital marketing, where a set of techniques is applied to spread messages and start conversations between users, with the aim of increasing sales of a product.
This type of content must be full of originality; sometimes it will have a humorous, surprising or extremely significant tone for the audience, enough for it to be replicated again and again by the users themselves.
Of course, one of the first steps for the material to go viral is that the brand or company is not the first to spread it. Sometimes, these are issued by influencers or personalities active on social networks. The reason? A fashion product or service that is recommended by someone “close” can be more successful than if, on the contrary, it were recommended by a company or firm.
That said, buzz marketing has four very specific pillars : curiosity and trust are the first (the content, sometimes, has not been fully revealed and that arouses interest. On the other hand, the trust that exists with the person who sends the message or begins to spread it is vital).
This is followed by content and virality (the message will have to be powerful in order to be replicated).
If the content has achieved the desired spread and impact, then it is time to reveal its author or its relationship with the trendy product you want to sell.
