Capital del lujo

Capital of luxury

Dubai is the new cradle for the fashion market that seeks total exclusivity.

It is no secret that Middle Eastern consumers and foreign visitors who visit some of its most representative regions have turned the fashion market into a phenomenon worthy of analysis.

For example, Dubai, one of the emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, has been the scene of a series of events that speak (and demonstrate) the power that ostentation, as well as luxury, has day after day within its borders.

You only have to look for news about Dubai in relation to the entertainment industry, architecture and of course fashion, to find events such as Beyoncé herself giving a concert inside the Atlantis The Royal hotel (one of the most exclusive in the world), an opportunity that earned the singer 35 million dollars. Or the existence of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper in the world at 828 meters and of course, the vacations of many celebrities from all walks of life among its ostentatious corners, buildings, beaches, etc.

Dubai, of course, has been the scene of interesting initiatives, projects and activations by premium international brands.

Some examples? From the construction of a hotel signed by Bulgari (the Bulgari Resort) and becoming the most expensive in the city, to the opening of a pop-up store under the Dior brand (although the fantasy is amplified when you know that it was built in a beach club that screams exceptionality).

And to add facts to this position that validate the relevance of luxury in the region, we could well highlight the existence of one of the favorite spots for fashion lovers: The Dubai Mall.

The space brings together gastronomy, lodging, training proposals and, of course, international fashion options through brands with their own stores: Bulgari, Cartier, Chloé, Chopard, Christian Louboutin, Henry Jacques, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, among others.

More examples? The existence of media outlets from the publishing industry that validate the echo of this new luxury capital, among the list are Vogue Arabia and Harper's Bazaar Arabia, both based in Dubai.

We must visit this spectacular city, don't you think?
